After taking the Right Brain/Left Brain exam, I found that I am 40% left brained and 60% right brained.

Designing a Wallet
Here in class we were given the assignment to design a wallet for a partner. We started out by interviewing our partner, not only just learn about their wallet needs, but to also themselves so it could be more personalized. Next, i had to dig deeper into her wallet expectations and i learned that she needed more space not only for money but also for an ID and pictures of family member. An easy-access change pocket was also a necessity. After this I had to try to understand her needs and asked questions like "What is she trying to achieve?" and "What's something I see about my partners experience that she doesn't?". I found that the answer to these questions were all pretty much the same: she needs more space, something reliable and something that is easy to use. After this stage, I tried to stand in her point of view. I knew she needed to have more space because she always shoves her cash inside. I also struggled with this problem so i understood this need of her. Next, I designed five different wallets that i think would suit her needs and chose the one i thought was the best. I finally constructed it out of a cereal box and glue. I brought into school and me and my partner consulted about what was good and what needed to change.

Design an Education System
I think a good learning system should be set up based on an individual child's potential, not
on a class as a whole. If a teacher teaches a certain way it will be picked up by some but not all. Not every child is the same so how can people expect everyone to succeed? There should be smaller classes so the teachers can teach kids on a more individual level. Having less students in one class means more one on one time. Also, education should be taught by a teacher who will engage in what these kids are learning about, not someone who will stand in front of the classroom and "deliver" the information. Education has gone dull, it's no wonder kids cant pay attention! Kids should be excited to learn and that can happen with great teachers and smaller classes.
